“Vengeance is a bitch.”

Seems like UA on the offensive in a lot of places. Where are you abouts?

SE of Soledar on the southern attack line from Popasna.

Word is we are fixing to get more artillery support, which if true, and is of adequate size and responsiveness, then we can start keeping ground we retake. Right now we are driving them north.

Also hearing that one of the Russian army groups involved in Bucha got annihilated north of here. Not sure if true yet, but some of the stories of the aftermath probably should not be repeated. Vengeance is a bitch.

64th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, 35th Combined Arms Army. Apparently destroyed near Izium.

Yeah, about 50 miles north, guess we will be slowly working that way if things go as planned.

Spain wants to send 50 Leopard 2s. Older versions but it’s a step forward.

In my narrow, local tactical view, seems the Yooks are making better use of heavy stuff than are the Russians. Down here, a Russian tank in sight is a dead tank. They are mounting all kinds of stuff on them to try to deal with AT, which kinda reminds me of what we did in Iraq. But, not sure a bunch of wraps of chicken wire is effective…

The Yooks seem to have a better concept of scarcity. The Russians…there’s just so much wrong with them.

Sounds like Wagner guys are taking a beating in your sector.

I think the guys we whacked might have been Wagner, but had no IDs, so impossible to say.

The whistler?

Yep.

We plan to move north via route west of Trypillia, depending on what we, of course, can do.

You guys walking or do you have wheels?

We mostly walk unless we are in a large group movement. And, mostly at night. Yeah, it can be dicey prowling around this varied terrain. Drones help a lot. It is like having a recon going out before the recon.

Not sure how evident it is out of our tactical area, but obviously with unarmed troops carriers you want to take-out the contents, but that also holds true with main battle tanks, since if they survive and are in fighting shape, the Russian will hand them a rifle and send them out as infantry. Despite questions of how effective they are as infantry in mind, not many people survive an attack on their tank.

The Russians are pulling T-62s out of mothballs and sending them in, but exactly where I don’t know yet. Someone made the point that if you get a catastrophic kill on a T-62 you kill four Russians instead of three, since it has no auto loader.

Have not seen any here so far.

Zelensky visited Lysachansk. Did he swing by and give you a medal?

Did not even know he was there until he had left. Guess they kept it on the QT, for obvious reasons. Very close to some serious activity.
